Crisis Intervention Training Program consists of Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training and Crisis Intervention Partners (CIP) training. CIT training is a week-long training geared towards law enforcement officers to improve responses to mental health crises calls and situations. CIP training is a 2-day training for other first responders, community partners and advocates to gain a better understanding and improving interactions with people who experience mental health crises.
