We’re celebrating 10 years of unification with a huge giveaway!
2022 marks the 10th anniversary of the unification of the former Stateline United Way and United Way of North Rock County, resulting in the formation of United Way Blackhawk Region. In celebration of this milestone, and to say thank you to our community and generous donors, we’ve officially launched the 2022 GIVE & WIN Sweepstakes.
Attractive prizes for the sweepstakes have been donated by corporate partners to inspire new support, which is particularly exciting after the pandemic-related fundraising challenges we’ve faced the past couple years.
Our corporate partners have gone above and beyond to demonstrate their support for United Way’s mission by donating prizes in addition to their already generous campaign contributions. In other words, the GIVE & WIN Sweepstakes is not reducing resources to meet the needs of our community but instead helping to attract new audiences and generate additional dollars for Community Grants.
How to enter the sweepstakes
GIVE a new or increased gift of $25, $50, $75, or $100 and you will be automatically entered to win. Three fabulous prize packages are available at both the $25 and $50 levels. The prize for new or increased gifts of $75 is $5,000 cash, sponsored by Fairbanks Morse Defense.
The coveted top prize, for new or increased gifts of $100, is a 2022 Jeep Renegade Latitude sponsored by an anonymous corporate partner with special thanks to Burtness – Orfordville / Whitewater for tremendous in-kind support. Whomever the lucky winner of the Jeep, please be assured the promotional stickers will come off.
You may be wondering, “If I give a new or increased gift of $100, am I eligible to win prizes at all four levels?” The short answer is no, but we didn’t arrive there without careful consideration. As United Way, we want to ensure a level playing field and keeping eligibility within donation levels creates a higher probability of winning for all donors. Whether you can afford to generously donate a new gift of $25 dollars or increase last year’s gift by more than $100 dollars, everyone has a chance to win.
Whether you contribute to United Way as an individual or as part of an employee giving campaign, the deadline for receipt of your donation (or workplace campaign envelope) is 4 p.m. on February 15, 2023. We plan to publicly announce sweepstakes prize winners at the LIVE UNITED Celebration, slated for late March.
